PUBLIC UTILITY LAW JUDGE’S
NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT HEARING
On July 14, 2023, the Historic Oldtown Bridge Preservation, LLC c/o O1C, LLC (the “Bridge” or the “Applicant”) filed an application with the Public Service Commission of Maryland (“Commission”) pursuant to Public Utilities Article, Annotated Code of Maryland (“PUA”) §4-203 and §4-204 for authority to revise its toll rates and charges (the “Application”).
The Bridge is requesting an increase to the toll rate for a passenger vehicle crossing from $1.50 to $2.50 as well as increases to other types of vehicles.
Notice is hereby given that a hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on the Application will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., via virtual meeting.

If any member of the public would like to speak at the hearing, you may sign up through the Commission’s website at: https://www.psc.state.md.us/ by Tuesday May 27, 2025.
Under the “Featured Topics” section on the right side of the website, take the following steps: click on Public Comment Hearing Signup; click on Case No. 9712; click on May 28, 2025; select 7:00 p.m. and click on “next”; and enter your name and email address and click “Schedule Event.” You will receive a zoom link for the meeting once you have completed the sign-up process. Otherwise, a recording will be available on the Public Utility Law Judge Division’s YouTube Channel.
Written comments may also be submitted electronically or by first-class mail. Comments submitted electronically must be submitted through the Commission’s Public Comment Dropbox, which can be accessed through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us. Instructions for logging into the Public Comment Dropbox are located under the “Tools” section of the Commission’s website under the “Make a Public Comment” tab, which can be accessed via the following link: https://www.psc.state.md.us/make-a-publiccomment/. Commenters utilizing the Public Comment Dropbox are required to complete a one-time registration. All comments must include a reference to Case No. 9712. If submitted by first-class mail, comments must be addressed to Jamie Bergin, Chief Clerk, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. Only one copy is required.
